YOP: #23

Not much has changed this past week from last week.  I've had a busy week...watching some previous students play in the state tournament for softball (they got creamed..they are seated 29, the team they played is 2) But they made it to the tournament!  A young cousin was severely burned on his leg from an accident, so went to visit him in the burn unit..which is about an hour away...sprained my foot...had two parties yesterday....so today I plan on sitting down, elevating the foot and getting some crafting in...I just realized I have another swap gift due to go out the 20th and I haven't started a thing!  So that needs to get done today...as another busy week is ahead of me....I thought I had time between the end of school and when it needed to be shipped...nope..it's the same day!

I did start my Garden Path Shawl
And the pair of socks

and worked a few rows on my other swap gift...but that is about it...

29th seed vs 2nd seed would be very challenging. At least they got there, right?!

Hope the burns heal well. I'm sure at the Burn Unit they know all the right things to do.

Love the yarn for the socks - looks like very sunny spring colours!

Good thing it is the end of school instead of the beginning. So sorry to hear about your cousin...that's awful...I hope he recovers soon and you too!
I love both your cast ons...I'm like you everything is coming due at once and I'm retired! LOL! Have a great week but take it easy if you can.
